Sirmione Afternoon

In my recent road trip around North Italy, I made a stop to a place called Sirmione. It was so beautiful that I almost drained my iPhone’s battery from shooting photos and videos! One of them even made its way as a wallpaper to my iPhone’s lock screen. I’m quite picky when it comes to wallpapers but I used Halide to shoot this in RAW and with a bit of tweaking in Lightroom, the result was exactly what I wanted.

I’m like an iPhone. I lose energy without doing anything.

Should I get an iPhone 5?

I’m a huge Apple fan! I use most of their products and there have been times when I bought Apple stuff due to the their hype instead of my needs. Times changed though and I have to consider better where to spend my precious euros. And that’s probably the reason that gave me a different perspective on Apple’s hype system.

iPhone 5 doesn’t need a bigger screen!

Before the iPhone started to reshape the whole cell phone industry, there were a couple of standards that even though they weren’t written in any manual most of us – consumers – were basing our choices. I am referring to the design and the size! Two major points that still define the success of any device. However, after looking at most of the smartphones that pop every year, I’m starting to worry because it looks like big companies are going out of style!

Why I don’t like folders on my iPhone.

It’s in our nature to ask for what we don’t have and whine about it when we get it. I believe that’s the case here and I’m referring to how much I thought I needed the folders feature on my iPhone and now that I have them I stopped using them. Last night when I plugged my iPhone to my Mac I noticed that it has less than a gigabyte of free space! Really? I’m using 8, maybe 10 apps every day and I have zero music and videos. How can I possibly run out of space?
