Restarting in Amsterdam.

Posted on January 30, 2016 in Personal, Εxperiences

It’s in my nature to seek out new experiences and always be eager to try and learn new things. I get bored easily when doing the same thing over and over again and the feeling that I get when I manage to break out of an old habit, lately has become my addiction. This is mainly because in the past few months I’ve done some really bold changes in my life. One of them – and probably the biggest one – was relocating to Amsterdam!

Adobe unveils Project Comet.

Even though I’ve been moving away from Adobe’s products, there are still a few things that make Photoshop a much needed tool. At least for me, for my daily tasks. Sketch is by far my most used app for 2015. It’s extremely lighter than Photoshop and allows me to apply super fast iterations on virtually anything! I had a feeling that Adobe wouldn’t sit around waiting for long before they realise that their competitors are catching up, but their first attempt with Design Space (a technology preview introduced with Adobe Photoshop CC 2015) was useless!

A problem is a chance for you to do your best.

Refresh v16 (plus freebie)

Posted on September 21, 2015 in Design, Freebies

It’s been roughly two years since I’ve updated my blog’s theme and to be honest, I’ve been itching to change it for months! This blog has always been my digital playground. A domain that I’ve always turned to for experimentation. For the past couple of years I believe I’ve learned quite a lot. The least I could do was turn all that knowledge into a decent WordPress theme and move to version 16. Yes, I do keep a record.

Portable, solar-powered ecocapsule.

Even though I prefer large spaces with minimal interior design, the idea of a self sustainable home (or maybe room in this case) is a dream. So while I’m dreaming: I would love one of these Ecocapsules parked somewhere in a beach or a river…

I’m pretty sure the price will destroy my dream though!

Freebie: Graphs in .Sketch

Posted on March 17, 2015 in Freebies

A new <secret>project</secret> got me all excited and I’ve been playing around with many UI elements. Some of them are graphs… and I thought, why not release a couple of them as my first .sketch freebie. Been using Sketch for more than 4 months now and a .sketch freebie was on my todo list for quite a while.

So here it is! I hope you like it and feel free to use it in any way you wish.

A truly stunning piece of art! Both performance and visual effects sync perfectly and if you are a creative thinker, you’ll definitely find yourself asking “how did he do that”… right?
