If you believe all the bad things that happened in your life are someone else’s fault and you can’t do anything about it, you are already defeated.

A new car UI.

Posted on February 23, 2014 in Gadgets

To me this looks like an amazing idea! However I am not really sure as to how my parents or people above a certain age would react to this. Using an iPad and other touch based devices for a few years, gives me the experience needed not only to operate a UI like this, but also makes me able to easily memorise what happens with three fingers, four etc. But I sense a high level of difficulty trying to explain this to my mother, who just learned how to “swipe” photos on my iPad.

I can see this being the future though. When my daughters are 30+ and I’m the old guy in the picture, maybe I’ll be tech savvy enough for something like this.

Style External Links with CSS.

Lately I’ve been working on a new project that has more links than I could ever imagine in a website. So the first thing that troubled me was to find a way to categorise some of these links. The whole project is based on ExpressionEngine so at first I tried creating categories and custom fields for each link but pretty soon this solution became useless.

Moto G is a game changer!

I’m an Apple guy. Everyone who knows me is aware of that. I am an iPhone, iPad, and MacBook user in addition to a lot of other Apple gizmos on my everyday life. I’m more than satisfied with everything. Almost zero reasons to look away for other platforms. So what could possibly make me try something different? A well thought price!

FT-1 concept.

Posted on January 15, 2014 in Noteworthy

The Toyota FT-1 concept is a pure performance, track-focused sports car model created by CALTY Design Research, Toyota’s North American Design branch. The FT-1 concept is a symbol that captures elements of the emotion and energy we can expect to see in future Toyota vehicles designs. Its design is heavily influenced by Toyota’s long sports car tradition that includes vehicles such as 2000GT, Celica, Supra and most recently, FT-86 (Scion F-RS).

That is one sick concept car! To be honest I’ve never been a huge fan of Toyota, but lately they never stop to amaze me. Not that I’m interested in getting a new car any time soon, but I’m quite curious to see Toyota’s new designs for 2014.
